- Integrated the Gemini API into a backend quiz-generation service for the EduAI platform. Validation to filter and structure the model's output, plus a fix for quizzes silently defaulting to English instead of the source material's language. Live at 40,000+ users, 93.8% completion rate.
- Built the Challenge-a-Friend feature end to end on the IPC-only pushpak backend (FastAPI): quiz sharing and scoring, a rolling free-quiz quota with automatic refunds on failed generation, and the gateway that's the only path from the native app into pushpak.
- Reworked a sharded weekly teacher leaderboard into a single versioned ranking with a zero-downtime cutover. Pushed sort/count logic onto Mongo instead of Python, and fixed a bug where a plain read could silently lower a teacher's XP.
- Paired with product, design, and QA to debug and tune performance across the stack. React frontend, Python backend.
